Unexpected!!

So many things happen in life that are unexpected!!

Our beautiful baby Shaleigh was born on March 28, 2010.

Her arm difference was unexpected. Although I had a sonogram every month she just always chose to hide her sweet little arm. I have thanked her and God so many times for keeping this difference a secret. I would have been so worried that I wouldn't have enjoyed my pregnancy to its fullest. Yes, its been and continues to be a challenge and it was quite a shock in the delivery room however every day Sha shows me that she is going to be OK!!

This week we have had a crazy ice/snow storm and schools have been closed all week.

This has been an unexpected time off that has just been amazing! We have hung out as a family. Just playing with our girls and watching a lot of Netflix!! Today we played in the snow with our sleds. Abby had a blast. Even CoCo our dog was loving it! Shaleigh liked it.... for a few minutes!! Lol!!

I could go on and on and list many more things in my life that have been unexpected.

(My first daughter Abby had to be taken by c-section 7 weeks early due to my high blood pressure. She spent 3 weeks in the NICU. This was definitely unexpected!!)

But the point is I have learned something about unexpected events.... they bring the best blessings. At first these events may be challenging, scary, overwhelming but I believe that God saves these unexpected events for special people who He wants to bless unexpectantly!!

So this blog will documents our life with the two most amazing daughters ......who we are unexpectantly amazed and blessed by everyday!!

  3. I hear you on "unexpected." That is how we were with #3's ear, but the blessings that have come from it continue to flow! AND, we hope to be able to bless others with information of our journey.

This afternoon, I will try to remember to link you to my blog roll.
